
This coffee is grown in Banko Chelchele, in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region [SNNPR] Ethiopia. The high altitude, rich soil, and climate create excellent conditions for producing great coffee.
During harvest, coffee cherries are picked when fully ripe & delivered to the washing station the same day. There they are sorted to remove any over or under-ripe cherries & foreign objects. This lot was then processed by the anaerobic natural method, cherries were sealed in oxygen free containers to ferment at low temperatures for 7-10 days & then spread out to dry on raised beds for 14-21 days.
