Loc Rung is located in the Dung Kno area of Lac Duong district, surrounded by high hills and the pristine Ba Bidoup mountain forest. It's known as the "Invisible Village" because it's often shrouded in thick fog at certain times of the year. Hundreds of K'Ho families live here, primarily relying on forest foraging and farming. The "hills covered in coffee" cover over 800 hectares and are the main source of income for the farmers.
Loc Rung's coffee production has three goals: protecting nature, helping the local people, and producing delicious coffee; ensuring a good supply of coffee beans and increasing the value, both in flavor and quality, of the coffee grown in the Dung K'no area.
Liberica coffee is grown in the Nui Doi area of Duc Trong and processed at Loc Rung Farm. The coffee is processed using Carbonic Maceration (CM) – a special fermentation method inspired by winemaking techniques. The coffee is fermented in sealed tanks containing CO₂, a nearly completely anaerobic environment. For 20 days, natural microorganisms inside the beans and on the fruit skin work slowly, creating a controlled breakdown of sugars and acids.
Le J' roasts Liberica to a Light level to develop the natural fruity flavors of this bean. With impressive bean quality, Liberica offers a round and lingering sweetness, pleasant notes of dried fruit and berries; the overall flavor is vibrant and complex, with a full and smooth body and a clean finish.
