Panama SL34 ASD

Le J' designed the P Series to salute Panamanian specialty coffee, which is always at the forefront of production, variety selection, and processing. A deeper understanding of Panamanian coffee is provided by each version, which is meticulously chosen from the variety and growing location and is crafted with a unique roast profile.

The second version, SL34 ASD from Esther Farm, is a great option for people who enjoy trying new things because of its unique flavor.

Scott Agricultural Laboratories in Kenya chose the coffee cultivar SL34 in the late 1930s. The prefix SL, which stands for Scott Labs, is used to denote specially chosen coffee plants; they are typically SL28 and SL34. As part of a collaborative research project between Scott Labs and regional private farmers, SL34 was chosen from a single tree on the Loresho farm in Kabete, Kenya.

After being harvested, the ripe coffee cherries are cleaned, steeped in water to get rid of any unripe or damaged beans, and then fermented for four days in a vacuum atmosphere. The coffee is carefully dried on racks in the sun for 22 days after fermentation is finished.

In an effort to capitalize on the excellent bean qualities of the SL34 type, Le J' continues to use the Light roast profile for pour-over and Medium Light for espresso, producing a subtle, nuanced flavor with a clean aftertaste. The coffee is a great option for people who enjoy trying new things because it has a strong rose scent, orange wine undertones, and a very distinct, vibrant flavor of peach and lychee.
