
The special thing about this strong and creamy espresso is the use of "fine" Robusta from India. This variety has no acidity, a strong body and creates a thick crema on the espresso. We believe that our directly needled, high-quality Robusta with its ideal roast profile puts this variety in a new light. Robusta beans naturally contain more caffeine than Arabica beans, making this espresso a real pick-me-up.
The Farm
For four years we have been sourcing our Single Origins green coffee directly from the Mysore plantation in the Indian state of Karnataka. The plantation is owned by the Rao family, who have been growing quality Robusta coffee and tea here for 80 years. India is the second largest coffee producer in the world.
