This coffee is sweet, nostalgic, and endlessly inviting. Ripe strawberry leads the way, wrapped in the creamy comfort of chocolate milk and finished with a gentle dusting of cinnamon spice. An Indonesian coffee that feels playful and indulgent, like a familiar treat you can’t help but return to.
Strawberry Fields is sourced from family-owned farms in the Kintamani highlands of Bali, where coffee grows in the volcanic soils surrounding Mount Agung. Farmers often plant citrus trees among their coffee, providing both shade for the crop and an additional source of income.
Coffee production here is organized through the traditional Subak Abian system, an ecological farming structure rooted in Tri Hita Karana - a philosophy centered on harmony between people, nature, and the spiritual world. Natural processing was introduced partly in response to water scarcity, and with raised beds already common for drying parchment, the transition to drying whole cherry was straightforward. The approach has since been widely adopted, producing distinctive coffees with vibrant character.
