The year was 2004, and before most anyone had heard of single origin coffee or barista competitions, we began roasting artisan quality coffee here in Bishop, CA. Our enduring commitment to quality has resulted in a unique roasting style that emphasizes the naturally occurring flavors and sweetness inherent in great coffee beans.

As the first roasting company in the Owens Valley, and the only one supporting Direct Trade coffee, we are privileged to source amazing coffee directly from the farmer’s hands. These coffees are grown on mountains around the world and then roasted here at home in the Eastern Sierra Nevada.
